Cher fans are speculating that the 76-year-old music icon got engaged to her boyfriend, 36, over the Christmas holidays.
The living legend shared a photo on Twitter on Christmas morning of what appeared to be a diamond engagement ring being held by her new boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards.

Set in a black velvet jewelry box was a stunning ring with a massive pear-shaped diamond center surrounded by a band of smaller diamonds.
AE, a music manager, held the box with two fingers showing black lacquer nails with lime green flames.
Cher’s followers immediately responded with questions about the ring’s meaning and whether there would be wedding bells in the future.
In response, the Believe singer simply reposted the same image an hour later with a different, cryptic caption.
She captioned the picture: “There R NO WORDS, ALEXANDER, AE” (pictured together in November)
“I posted this because his nails are so cool,” she said in explanation, but couldn’t dispel the engagement rumors.
The mysterious ring comes after sources recently told RadarOnline that the superstar was smitten with AE and wanted to tie the knot.
“Cher is head over heels in love,” the insider revealed. “She knows she doesn’t have much time left to find ‘the right one,’ and after two failed marriages and countless disastrous friends, this could be her LAST chance and she won’t let it pass her by.”
She added: “Of course her friends are concerned. Whenever there’s a 40-year, $400-million gap between two people, worry!

AE is the ex-boyfriend of Amber Rose, 39. After a storm of rumors that they were a couple, Cher finally confirmed on Instagram last month that she is dating Alexander.
During a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Cher poked fun at their 40-year age difference.
“Well it’s kind of ridiculous on paper,” Cher admitted, “but in real life we get along great. He’s fabulous and I don’t give men qualities they don’t deserve.’
She hailed Alexander as “very nice,” adding, “He’s very smart, he’s very talented and he’s really funny — and I think he’s quite handsome.”
Cher remarked, “If I hadn’t met any younger men in my life, I would never have dated because older men just didn’t like me that much, you know what I mean?”
