Every practice day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs release an official injury report in advance of the next game. This week, the Chiefs host the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday at 3:25 p.m. Arrowhead time.

Here is the Chiefs’ final injury report of the week with official designations:

Some notes

  • The Chiefs will not have wide receiver Justin Watson (elbow) listed for the game out of. This was to be expected — and it was one of the reasons Kansas City decided to bring back Mecole Hardman.
  • Chiefs head coach Andy Reid when asked if Hardman and defensive lineman Charles Omenihu would play against the Chargers: “I think it’s heading in that direction.”
  • Reid announced that cornerback Jaylen Watson (hamstring) suffered a blow to his thigh during practice on Friday and had to be removed from practice. He is the only one questionable Players listed. The Chiefs will see how he feels on Sunday before making a decision.
  • Tight end Travis Kelce (ankle), defensive end George Karlaftis (hamstring) and punter Tommy Townsend (left knee) reported full practices all week. They are well prepared for the game on Sunday questionable before last week’s competition.
  • The Chargers both upgraded defensive tackle Sebastian Joseph-Day (knee) and linebacker Joey Bosa (toe). full exercise participants after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday; Both are expected to play the game.
  • Free safety Alohi Gilman (Toe) has been declared out of after the downgrade did not participate on Friday.
  • Cornerback Deane Leonard (hamstring) – a special teams player who has been inactive for the past three weeks – was also listed out of
  • Two Chargers were listed as questionable for the game on Sunday. Amen Ogbongbemiga (thigh) did not participate for the second straight game, while safety Derwin James (ankle) was demoted for the second straight time, ending the week did not participate Status.
  • Unsure whether Gilman would be available for the game, the Chargers on Wednesday requested the replacement of former Atlanta Falcons Jaylin Hawkins (illness). Hawkins was limited on both Thursday and Friday, but was not given injured status for the game.
