NFL Week 4 Tips and Predictions | Lorenzo’s castles

USA TODAY Sports Lorenzo Reyes is back with his favorite picks ahead of Week 4 NFL games. He is currently 29-18 against the spread with his picks.

Week 4’s “Sunday Night Football” game promises to be full of star power – and that’s not just limited to the field.

Pop icon Taylor Swift is in the stands for the second week in a row to watch Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. This time they will be greeted in New York (actually New Jersey) by the New York Jets without Aaron Rodgers.

After losing their season-opening game to the Detroit Lions, the Chiefs managed to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars before defeating the Chicago Bears in front of Swift, who was sitting in a luxury suite with Kelce’s mother, Donna.

‘Welcome to New York’: Taylor Swift is rooting for Travis Kelce for the second day in a row

With the Jets it was the exact opposite. New York defeated the Buffalo Bills on “Monday Night Football” in Week 1 despite Rodgers suffering a season-ending torn Achilles tendon. The Jets have lost their last two games due to Zach Wilson’s shaky quarterback play, prompting franchise legend Joe Namath to say he’s “seen enough.”

USA TODAY Sports brings you the latest updates, scores, highlights, wild plays, analysis and more throughout the night. Consequences.

Chiefs right tackle Jawaan Taylor has taken a lot of punishment and criticism through the first three weeks of the season.

This piece won’t make it into his highlight reel either.

Taylor was assessed a facemask penalty in the Kansas City end zone as the team began its drive deep in its own territory. Because the foul occurred in the end zone, it was ruled a safety.

The points were the Jets’ first of the game, and they trailed 17-2 early in the second quarter.

The Chiefs were the clear favorites and they play like that.

Kansas City took a 17-0 lead after Patrick Mahomes completed a six-play, 89-yard touchdown drive. The Chiefs’ drive was capped by a 34-yard touchdown pass from Mahomes to tight end Noah Gray.

The Chiefs scored on all three possessions and totaled 200 yards by the end of the first quarter.

Isiah Pacheco is a running back for the Kansas City Chiefs who scored the team’s first touchdown in Sunday night’s game against the New York Jets.

The game served as a homecoming for the 24-year-old, who grew up in Vineland, New Jersey and played college football at Rutgers. He finished his college career at Rutgers seventh in school history with 2,442 rushing yards.

Pacheco was drafted by the Chiefs in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft. In his rookie year, he started 11 games and played in all 17. He ran for 830 yards and five touchdowns. The Chiefs won the Super Bowl, defeating the Philadelphia Eagles.

Pacheco goes by the nickname “Pop,” which he says comes from his days as a kid playing Pop Warner and making a big tackle on defense. It also serves as a tribute to his older brother, who gave him his name and died in 2016 at the age of 29.

The Chiefs offense scored quickly after their defense forced a three-pointer.

Running back Isiah Pacheco followed his blockers to the left, found space and ran for a 48-yard touchdown to extend Kansas City’s lead in the first quarter. Butker scored the extra point to make it 10-0.

The Chiefs’ second series gained 69 yards in just 5 plays. It took a little over two minutes. The Chiefs had eight carries, 82 rushing yards and a rushing TD in the first quarter.

Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker opened the scoring with a 37-yard field goal after Patrick Mahomes’ short pass to wide receiver Skyy Moore fell incomplete on third down. The Chiefs lead 3-0.

Tight end Travis Kelce had two catches for 29 yards on Kansas City’s first series.

The NFL has welcomed Taylor Swift to New York – technically New Jersey.

The pop star was seen in a video captured on social media entering MetLife Stadium before the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the New York Jets. She went through security with Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.

This will be Swift’s second week in a row attending a Chiefs game as she is rumored to be dating Travis Kelce. Last week she was seen in a suite with Kelce’s mother Donna, cheering on Kansas City to victory.

Swift had three shows at MetLife Stadium this summer as part of her Eras Tour. New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is a Swiftie and was spotted singing and dancing at one of the shows. The quarterback, who tore his Achilles tendon in Week 1, will also be at the Chiefs-Jets game.

Aaron Rodgers returned to MetLife Stadium on Sunday after suffering a torn Achilles tendon in the New York Jets’ season opener. He strolled the sidelines with crutches and an ankle brace, chatting with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

He also had a conversation with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who is reportedly dating Taylor Swift. Anticipation for the pop star’s appearance at the game grew throughout the week. Rodgers himself is a big fan of Swift and was spotted at one of her concerts at New Jersey Stadium this summer.

Chiefs fan Paul Rudd was also seen on the sidelines before kick-off. The “Antman” actor attended the University of Kansas and is one of Kansas City’s most famous fans.

Other celebrities in attendance include actors Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, who arrived with Taylor Swift, as well as Jeremy Strong from the hit HBO show “Succession”. World champion and Olympic sprinter Noah Lyles is also at the game and appeared on NBC’s pregame broadcast. Lyles recently made headlines off the circuit for criticizing American sports that call their season winners “world champions.”

The Chiefs and Jets kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET.

The game will be broadcast on NBC. It is also available to stream on Peacock and free on Fubo.

How important is their Madden rating to NFL players? Actually a lot.

Equipped with a clipboard and his disarming personality, Clint Oldenburg prepares for the questions. And on this particular Friday afternoon at Washington Commanders training, there will be plenty of it.

The interrogators are the players themselves, and the subject of their consternation is (in most cases) both subjective and a cultural touchpoint: their Madden NFL 24 ratings.

“They care a lot,” Oldenburg, a ratings adjuster and former NFL offensive lineman, told USA TODAY Sports. “In my opinion, the Madden rating is kind of like their reputation on the street out there.”

For this reason, some players’ reactions to their initial ratings can be combative. Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs learned he had an overall score of 87, went on social media to show his displeasure.
