Child pornography: Disney World employee charged

A Disney World employee in Florida has been charged with 32 counts of child pornography.

The Hernando County Sheriff's Office said it opened an investigation into 47-year-old Michael Foster after receiving information about a person who may have child pornography in his home.

The man was arrested on Wednesday following a search of his home by the sheriff's office, which resulted in the seizure of an external hard drive and several SD cards believed to belong to Mr. Foster.

According to police, the suspect admitted to viewing and downloading pornographic images and also being the owner of the storage devices.

The defendant was held on $320,000 (CAD425,000) bail, American media reported, to which a Disney World spokesman confirmed that the employee no longer worked for the park.
