Prince Harry will have left the Prince and Princess of Wales “angry and betrayed” after the Duke shared Kate’s personal text messages to Meghan Markle in his bombshell book, an expert has claimed.
In his new memoir Spare, which hit shelves yesterday, the father-of-two details messages exchanged between the sisters-in-law ahead of Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May 2018 about Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress.
Princess of Wales reportedly texted Meghan that her daughter was in tears over her French couture dress, which was “too big, too long, too baggy”.
In response, Meghan curtly asked the mother-of-three to take Charlotte to the tailor, who has been standing by Kensington Palace “since 8am”.
Prince Harry (pictured during his interview with Stephen Colbert) has been labeled “childlike” for posting Kate and Meghan’s text messages in his bombshell memoir
Speaking to the Mirror, royal expert Ingrid Seward described the Duke of Sussex as “childish” for publishing the lyrics.
The expert – who is the editor of Majesty magazine – said: “His aggression towards Kate, the sister-in-law he was once so close with, is just childish revenge for what he believes to be her infidelity to Meghan.”
Following their disagreement over the bridesmaid dresses, Prince Harry backed Meghan’s claim from her Oprah interview last year that her sister-in-law responded by sending her a bouquet of flowers in apology.
However, Ingrid said it would take a lot more than that for Harry to make amends with the Prince and Princess of Wales following the release of his book.

She added: “You are certainly angry and betrayed that Harry has decided to monetize his immediate family in this disloyal manner.”
Before delving into Meghan and Kate’s texts, Prince Harry reveals in his bio that when asked by the Princess of Wales about the bridesmaid dresses, his wife didn’t reply “immediately” as she “coped with the chaos surrounding her father.” “ was.
On May 14, 2018, just five days before the wedding, Thomas Markle announced that he would not be attending due to health reasons. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, the bride’s father had posed near his home in Mexico for staged photos showing him being measured for a wedding suit and researching Windsor at an internet cafe.
After informing Kate that she had arranged a tailor to sort Charlotte’s dress, the Princess of Wales reportedly told Meghan that her “own wedding dress designer” agreed with her that the dresses should be remade.
Harry writes: “Meg asked if Kate knew what was going on. With her father. Kate said she was well aware, but the clothes. And the wedding is in four days!’

Prince Harry’s new memoir, Spare, went on sale yesterday. In the book, he describes how the Princess of Wales was among those in the royal family who “stereotyped” his wife.
“Yes, Kate, I know…” his fiancée retorted sharply.
He also claims that his sister-in-law “had issues with the way Meg planned her wedding. Anything to do with a party for the bellboys? It went back and forth’.
Speaking of his wife, the prince said: “I’m not sure what else to say. If the dress doesn’t fit, please take Charlotte to Ajay’s. He’s been waiting all day.”
“Fine,” Kate reportedly replied.
Harry states that he returned home a short time later, suggesting that he and his ghostwriter got a report of the actual conversation from Meghan to find his fiancée “sobbing on the floor”.
While he says he was “appalled” to see her so upset, he didn’t consider it a disaster as emotions were understandably running high. He told Meghan that “Kate meant no harm”.
He suggests his point was proved when the then-Duchess of Cambridge stopped by with flowers and a card to apologize the next morning.
Over the years, there have been different versions of who made whom cry.
It was initially claimed that Meghan made Kate cry, a suggestion that so enraged the Sussexes that they went to war with their press office and demanded that they issue a correction.
When officials refused, saying it would raise further questions about the incident and set a precedent for speaking about private family matters, the couple decreed that it was another example of the palace unwilling to stand up for them.

January 2023: Harry’s memoirs reveal new rifts between the Sussexes and Wales.
Earlier this week, Chron diary editor Richard Eden claimed Prince Harry was “determined to ruin the Princess of Wales’ good reputation in his book.
During his ITV interview with Tom Bradby over the weekend, the Duke of Sussex, 38, opened up about an awkward meeting that took place at Kensington Palace in the summer of 2018 between himself, Meghan Markle and the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The father-of-two claims they organized a meeting to clear the air after a series of disagreements, including Meghan commenting on Kate’s “baby brain”, which William called “rude”.
The Duke later describes how Kate gripped the edges of her leather chair so tightly that her “fingers turned white.”
Commenting on Prince Harry’s recent British TV interview, Richard Eden said the king was “determined to change views” about his sister-in-law and “destroy her reputation”.
The expert said: “What came across was Harry’s desire to change the image we have of Catherine. We have this picture of her looking very poised, elegant and calm.
“But no no, he said she was so angry that she clung to the edge of the furniture so tight her knuckles turned white.”
The expert added: “He also makes it sound like Catherine wants to strangle Meghan! It’s really dramatic stuff.’
