“China believes that this visit will further consolidate the long-standing friendship between the two countries, deepen political mutual trust, raise the level of practical cooperation between the two sides and take China-Uruguay relations to a new level,” he affirmed.
Lacalle Pou will be in the Asian giant until the 24th, as part of a program that includes high-level talks, sightseeing and business exchanges.
The President traveled with a delegation that included representatives of various chambers of commerce and representatives of agricultural producers’ interest in obtaining larger areas in the Chinese market.
