Beijing, June 7 (Prensa Latina) – A record 12.9 million young people in China face the university entrance exam, or gaokao, today, amid government-sponsored measures to ensure transparency, security and fairness in the important process to ensure.
The strict test will be officially applied between this Wednesday and Thursday, with 980,000 more students than in 2022.
Every applicant must prove knowledge of Chinese and English language and literature as well as mathematics.
Although the current appeal is the first in three years to be carried out without anti-Covid-19 measures, the authorities in the sector urged students to exercise caution and hygiene as the country experiences a wave of this disease and it is increasing of which there infected.
