At a joint press conference following the fourth round of Sino-Pakistani foreign ministers’ strategic dialogue with Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Qin said China appreciates Pakistan’s political support for interest-related issues, China’s fundamentals and key concerns.

During the meeting, both sides pledged to accelerate China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects and sound planning and operation in industrial cooperation and expand margins in areas such as agriculture, technology and new energy to help Pakistan to achieve sustainable and higher quality development.

Qin said that through the joint efforts of both countries, the CPEC has become a model of “Belt and Road” cooperation, bringing significant improvement in Pakistan’s infrastructure and tangible economic and social benefits through early harvest projects.
