China sends dozens of warplanes near Taiwan: “Taipei airspace violated”

there China violates Taiwan’s airspace. And tensions between the two countries are rising. According to the Taipei Ministry of Defense, 29 Chinese warplanes entered Taiwan’s self-declared Air Defense Zone (ADIZ) yesterday.

China, the aircraft carrier Fujian is the first to be able to compete with the USA (and in the name there is a reference to Taiwan)

MORE INFORMATION

The ministry said it is a group of warplanes, early warning and control aircraft, electronic warfare aircraft, anti-submarine aircraft, electronic reconnaissance aircraft and aerial refueling aircraft. It was the third-highest daily number of Chinese jets to fly into Taiwan’s Adiz since the beginning of the year, and the flash comes less than a month after China sent 30 warplanes on a similar mission. In response, the Taiwanese military launched fighter jets to warn Chinese jets, issued radio alerts and deployed air defense missile systems to monitor activities, the defense ministry added.

THE AIRSPACE
Beijing has not ruled out an invasion of Taiwan with military force, and has kept up pressure on the island with frequent fighter jet flights in recent years. An Adiz is imposed unilaterally and separately from sovereign airspace, which is defined under international law as extending 12 nautical miles from a territory’s coast.

TENSIONS IN THE STREET OF TAIWAN
The Taiwan issue has been at the forefront of US-China relations in recent months. Tensions between Washington, which is committed to the island’s self-defense, and Beijing over Taiwan are the order of the day. In a keynote address in Singapore, Chinese Defense Minister Wei Fenghe accused the United States of acting like “thugs” in the region and vowed that the PLL will “fight to the end” to stop Taiwan’s independence.
