The actor Carlo Villagran made history by playing the character quico under “Key”. The native of Mexico is currently 79 years old.
In 1979 Carlos left the cast to pursue a solo career but was unable to achieve the same level of success.
After that, he started doing shows dressed up as a character, constantly appearing at events and other interviews about the show.
From 1972, Villagrán played Dona Florinda’s heir, a character that made him famous in Brazil, Mexico and other countries.
He also appeared in the cast in other Roberto Bolaños productions such as “Chapolin Colorado”.
Villagrán even dated Florinda Meza, who later became Bolaños’ wife. Along with Seu Madruga (Don Ramón), Quico became one of the most popular characters in the series.
Actress María Antonieta de las Nieves, interpreter of Chiquinha, is usually very active on social networks.
