“You’re gonna make me cry! Because it’s a complicated topic for me, believe me, well, it’s obvious that parents gave us life, they are very important and we should always respect them for that, but when your mother is toxic to you and you feel worse than good it’s ok to keep your relationship far away do you miss it? Tell her, text her, send her flowers, but you don’t have to be in a close relationship again”

“If you miss someone, don’t stick with that feeling, send them a message, a call, but it’s not necessary to go back to a relationship as such, just listen to that feeling. I have a member of my family with me who I don’t get along with very well, but from time to time I send him a message that says “Hey, I hope you’re okay.”
