The wedding between Antilles singer Chocolate MC and young Cuban Dayneris Díaz, La Menor, has been called off following the couple’s split.
Although the wedding was supposed to take place on October 14 in Miami and turned out to be the most anticipated of Cuban urban show business, it was eventually called off, according to the artist’s ex-fiancée.
La Menor announced that she and Chocolate MC were no longer together and that the wedding would not go ahead after struggling in their romantic relationship.
It is recalled that Chocolate MC was arrested in Tampa last Saturday for driving his vehicle without a license and attempting to flee from police.
Five charges of domestic violence appear in the artist’s police file in connection with the case he is keeping open in Monroe County following reports filed by his ex-partner Cynthia Cortés.
The minor clarified that none of these charges were filed by her as he had them pending.
“Everyone thinks that I brought these charges against him, but he had these charges pending (…) he never touched a hair of my head,” Díaz said on the YouTube show La Eskina Kaliente.
One of the triggers for ending the engagement was that the young woman was pregnant and he “disappeared”, causing her to miscarry due to the stress she was going through.

The young woman said that Chocolate MC took it very badly during the last break, so he threatened to break all her belongings and didn’t allow her to leave her house and she had to call the police.
She also revealed that the urban artist smashed her vehicle when she tried to leave, forcing her to call the police from the vehicle, but he left before authorities arrived.
