Chocolate com Pimenta is a Brazilian soap opera that originally aired on TV Globo from September 8, 2003 to May 7, 2004. It was written by Walcyr Carrasco in collaboration with Thelma Guedes and general direction by Fabrício Mamberti, with core direction by Jorge Fernando. It is inspired by the work “The Merry Widow” by Franz Lehár.
Ana does not believe Olga. Jezebel plans to expose Ismênia’s weakness. Ana tells Tonico that she is thinking about giving him a new father and he asks if it would be Danilo. The son rejects the idea of having Sebastian as a father. Sebastian sees that Márcia will meet the mayor at the hotel and sends a message to the First Lady. Barbara says she’s going to make a scene at the hotel. Everyone in town is paying attention to the First Lady’s scandal. Ana fears the lover is her friend, but Sebastian pretends not to know who she is. Guilherme and Danilo fight to defend their aunts. Marcia is desperate and goes out the window. Barbara invades the room where Vivaldo is, but without anyone with him. Beto saves Vivaldo by saying he has a hair treatment planned. Barbara finds a woman’s shoe. Danilo asks if Ana got what she wanted: a scandal.

Ana Francisca pretends not to know what Danilo is talking about. Olga defends Ana Francisca against Danilo but cannot move her. Margot claims that the shoe belongs to the previous guest, but Barbara decides to keep the shoe just in case. So that Barbara doesn’t become suspicious, Beto puts the tonic on the mayor’s hair, but later confesses that it was a bottle of glue. Olga is frustrated that the plan failed. Olga says she forgives Ana Francisca and Danilo and surprises him. Guilherme abuses Celina, much to Graça’s delight. Timóteo sees Márcia coming home in tatters and decides to find out what she’s up to. Mocinha asks Ana if she is determined to commit to Sebastián and she agrees, claiming that she has no intention of ever falling in love again. Danilo sees Ana and Sebastián going out together at night. Danilo denies to Guilherme that he still has feelings for Aninha and is determined to find out what she is up to. Margarido begins to like Sebástian and Marcia suffers from her approach. Ana tells Marcia to pretend that Danilo doesn’t know Tonico is his son. Ana and Sebastián almost kiss. Ana doesn’t let Sebastian kiss her. A stallholder tells Barbara that she saw a woman walking through the hotel window. Barbara shows Marcia the found shoe and asks her to find the owner. Danilo asks Ana Francisca if she intends to take revenge on everyone.
