The Thor: Love and Thunder star was in the country last week to attend the Netflix series Tudum: A Global Fan Event, where he got the chance to train with the Terminator legend. The 39-year-old described the experience as “the highlight of his life”.
“I saw him at the gym and I was like, ‘Oh my god! This is Arnold!’ And my heart rate’s up a bit, I’m nervous, the Tyler Rake star told ET. He said, “Chris! Oh, hey, how are you?” And we discussed. He is wonderful. »
The American actor described his training with the 75-year-old star as “respectful” and “full of support”. “I didn’t want to approach a Schwarzenegger’s competitive side. He has it in abundance,” he confessed.
He also revealed that a scene from his new movie, Tyler Rake 2, pays homage to his bandmates. “There’s a scene where I’m sitting on the roof of a train with a big minigun in hand and I’m like, ‘We’ve got to turn Arnold’s plan into Commando!’ So it’s a tribute to him and all the great things he’s done on screen. »
Tyler Rake 2 is now available on Netflix.
