As part of that plan, Jericho aspired to making his daily big meal — or in this case, a quasi-big 8-ounce meal — which would be followed by another snack or two later in the day.
“And that would be it,” he added. “Like any other diet — because I’ve done a few of them — it really isn’t that bad once you get the hang of it.”
Jericho preferred this approach to intermittent fasting, which he denounced as “the biggest diet scam.” He also noted that on this diet he drinks about 100 ounces of water a day, which is a new experience for him.
“I was never a big water drinker, but now I’m tapping water,” he said. “So, boom, I’m drinking 34 ounces – gluck, gluck, gluck. All you have to do is retrain your body, and once you’re able to do it, it’s not so bad. I can always drink something, grab my little shot glass for some vodka and it’s fine.”
Jericho also watches his weight to make sure he doesn’t rebloat.
“I’m the guy who carries a scale with me everywhere,” he said. “When I’m over 210, I retire. If it’s under 210, I’ll have a cheeseburger. If it’s 205, I’ll eat a cheeseburger and a pizza. If it’s 215, then I’ll take it.” Follow the diet strictly for a few days. Once you get there and keep them, it’s fine. You just have to know where you stand.
