Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson are reportedly “engaged.”
The 47-year-old Coldplay singer proposed to the 34-year-old Hollywood actress “some time ago” and has the full blessing of his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow and their children Apple and Moses.
The couple have always kept things pretty private since they began dating six years ago
But a source told The Mirror: “The couple got engaged some time ago and kept the news secret.” But now they are open about it in their circles. They were into each other from day one, so this next step was inevitable.
“They are in no rush to plan the wedding, but are simply enjoying making their commitment official.”

Web has contacted representatives for Chris and Dakota for comment.
Chris and Dakota met through mutual friends rather than through collaboration, and have “never really left each other” since then, the actress told Vanity Fair in June 2022.
This is entirely believable since people in show business are never more than a degree or two apart.
They were first spotted together in 2017, a year after the pop star's divorce from Gwyneth.
However, it wasn't initially clear whether the couple was dating or just close.
In June 2019, the couple fell apart, which was rumored to be due to the Coldplay man's push to have children.
This was a step that Dakota did not want to take in her professional prime. But before the summer was over, they were together again.
They will be particularly happy about this since they apparently got matching infinity sign tattoos in 2018.
Dakota has now said she loves Chris and Gwyneth's two children “as if my life depends on it”.
In an interview with Bustle, the 34-year-old actress opened up about being stepmom to Apple, 19, and Moses, 17, the teenage children that Coldplay singer Chris shares with Gwyneth.
She also revealed that she's “open” to having children of her own if that's what she “wants.”
“I love these kids like my life depends on it.” “With all my heart,” Dakota said of Apple and Moses.

As a member of a large blended family, Dakota – who was recently spotted in Malibu – has learned to embrace connections that have nothing to do with blood.
When the reporter showed a photo Gwyneth posted of her and Dakota, she said, “I grew up in such a big family and I just believe in the saying 'blood is thicker than water,'” she explained.
“The actual saying is, “The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb,” meaning that the connections you have with the people you choose are stronger than the connections you have with the people you are actually born with. “
Dakota's parents are actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson. Both separated, Don married Kelley Phleger in 1999 and Melanie married Antonio Banderas in 1996. They divorced in 2015.
Now Dakota is open to having children of her own.
“I’m so open to it. I'm at a point where I really want to experience everything life has to offer. And especially as a woman, I think: What a fucking magical thing that is to do. The actress has been dating Coldplay frontman Chris since 2017, but watching him on stage never gets old.
“I love watching him. I could watch him every day. I don't know how to explain it. “I feel like, I don't know… I'm watching my favorite being doing his favorite thing,” she explained.

The couple has been living together in a multi-million dollar beach house in Malibu for several years.
The singer loves surfing and the actress loves swimming, making this a perfect spot.
Dakota also enjoys racing around in a 1965 Mustang that her partner bought her as a birthday present.
They support each other professionally, with Dakota performing at Chris's performances and Chris at Dakota's premieres.
In June 2023, the singer even sang a serenade for his girlfriend when his band visited Naples.
They even worked together once, with Dakota, the director of Coldplay's 2020 music video for the song Cry Cry Cry.
