The “Chris and JJ Show” came to an abrupt end this Sunday at Survivor Quebec when the former orchestrated his partner’s downfall during an epic tribal council.
If you haven’t heard about the information that was unfortunately leaked just over a week ago, this tribal council must have you screaming with delight in your living room. For the others, however, the result was just as satisfying.
After returning from the Isle of Salvation, when Nicolas thought he was in more danger than ever, he was asked by the duo of Kimberly and Chris to reshuffle the game.
In the meantime, Karine was preparing a little commedia dell’arte that no one believed, not even her. The members of the jury found it hard to keep their mouths shut as she watched her pretend to save Nicolas and then offered her still-active immunity to Chris. You had to see the contestant’s face as she understood what was going on behind her back, the surprise departure of her pal JJ.
With that, the school of fish lost its charismatic leader and no longer really exists. Karine finds herself alone in a team with Justine, who wasn’t very rebellious to begin with. Justine should start smelling the hot soup very soon…
The Headmaster concerned, JJ, seemed completely shocked. Of course, before leaving, he hugged his teammate Chris, underscoring the quality of his play in this unlikely turn of events. Chris just didn’t want to let his little Kimberly go!
Followers on social media congratulate Kimberly and Chris and underline their courage in pursuing this successful strategy. Many point out that the true survivor has only just begun with a week to go.
Nicolas, who has agreed to join this new duo he has never worked with, will be granted an unprecedented reprieve that will allow him to continue moving forward.
Patrice Bélanger recently drew our attention to this trend reversal. Knowing that the host is also a huge Survivor fan, he must have been delighted to host such a memorable tribal council.
