Chris Pine, the silver fox, had legs for days when he showed up in Los Angeles on a relatively cool fall Friday this week.
The 43-year-old could be seen wearing a tiny, tight pair of short shorts that put his shapely pins on full display.
He was well prepared for a possible drop in temperature by pulling a canary yellow hoodie over his head.
However, the hood slid back slightly, revealing his distinguished salt-and-pepper pompadour that matched his gray-flecked beard.
His appearance comes a month after the premiere of his directorial debut “Poolman,” a comedic crime thriller, at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The film was heavily criticized by critics after its screening and currently has a dismal 17% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
“Not just the worst movie I saw during the fall festival season, but probably one of the worst movies in any year it came out,” wrote Variety critic Owen Gleiberman.
Chris leads the film’s cast, which includes Annette Bening, Danny DeVito, Jennifer Jason Leigh and DeWanda Wise.
Chris plays Darren, an apartment complex pool man with a philosophical streak; Annette and Danny are his neighbors.
Eventually, Darren becomes aware of a water robbery and gets caught up in a series of film noir misadventures, including a femme fatale.
In addition to directing and starring in the film, Chris also co-wrote the film with Ian Gotler, who starred with him in a few short films in 2014.
Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins is producing alongside Chris and Ian as well as Stacey Sher, who has worked as a producer on several Quentin Tarantino films.
Chris’ upcoming releases also include Wish, a Disney animated musical fantasy starring one of the same co-directors as Frozen.
