Chris Rock’s brother defended him on a comedy show this weekend.
During his live performance this Friday April 1, Tony, 47, began his show by discussing the slap Chris received from Will Smith.
In a video uploaded to YouTube, Tony is seen saying: “If you think you can get on that stage, that ain’t the damn Oscars.”
“And if they come up here, they won’t be nominated for anything but those damn hands.”
“I didn’t want to start this show like that,” he clarified. “But who is going to hit my brother because his wife saw her ugly?”
Just this week, Tony slammed the public apology Smith shared, adding that his brother is “fine” after all the controversy.
Rock also revealed that he is waiting for Smith to call his brother and family personally after it was said that Smith was on friendly terms with the Rock family.
