Chrissie Swan can’t stop blushing when comedian Jimmy Carr calls her ‘MILF’ after hearing her hoarse post-Logies voice on ‘The Project’

Chrissie Swan received a rather rude compliment from British stand-up comedian Jimmy Carr when she interviewed him on The Project on Tuesday night.

The panel was speaking to the 49-year-old comedian about his upcoming Australian tour, when Jimmy jokingly referred to Chrissie as “MILF” after hearing her hoarse voice.

The single mother-of-three, 48, was still struggling to speak after a long night of partying at the TV Week Logie Awards on Sunday.

“Speaking of MILFs, what’s wrong with her voice?” said Jimmy.

“MILF” is an acronym for “mother I’d like to fuck”.

He continued, “Because it sounds like The Project are doing a séance and that’s a voice from the other side.”

Chrissie burst out laughing, admitting she sounded like she was “obsessed,” adding, “I can’t believe I’m talking to you like that!”

She went on to ask Jimmy for advice on regaining her voice, prompting the comedian to joke that she should start a 12-step program to quit drinking.

“Alcohol wasn’t involved!” replied Chrissie.

It comes after Chrissie revealed that giving up alcohol was one of the secrets to her recent 90kg weight loss.

The media personality quit drinking over a year ago and turned to meditation and walking during Melbourne’s grueling 112-day lockdown.

In an interview with The Australian Women’s Weekly in February, Chrissie explained that lockdowns have prompted her to make some “huge” changes to her lifestyle.

“We couldn’t go out to eat, we couldn’t go to friends’ houses, they couldn’t come to ours, we couldn’t go five kilometers out. All we could do was run and I did that,” she said.

However, the star declined to share any further details on how she lost weight.

“I’m not going to talk about the size of my ass. I won’t tell you what I eat in a day. Because I’ve read those stories and they make me feel bad,” she added.
