On Thursday evening, the Cravings author and her husband John legendShe had a fancy date night at the White House.
Teigen showed off her maternity style, donning a cute bubblegum pink off-the-shoulder dress that cradled her growing baby bump. Her puffy sleeves were adorned with floral jewels that matched the bow clasp of her black clutch. She added a twist to the look with black, elbow-length gloves.
Legend, on the other hand, complemented his wife’s outfit, looking dapper as ever in a classic tuxedo and matching bow tie.
The couple, who will soon be welcoming their third child, have apparently left their children at home for the evening – they are parents to Miles, 4, and Luna, 6.
The duo made their grand entrance through the festive foyer, walking arm in arm, much like Jennifer Garner and her dinner date, her teenage daughter, Violet Affleckwhich she shares with her ex-husband Ben Affleck.
The celebrities were among the 400 VIPs who attended the event, hosted by President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.
Teigen shared some footage from the night on her Instagram and wrote, “The state dinner! Being in the White House will never be extremely exciting. Intelligence! Little things you want to steal, but not because you want to be invited back! Sitting next to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin AHHHHH I really did my best to restrain myself. An extremely humiliating space. Now back home with the babies and not sure if I can venture another venture like this but what a way out!”
The gallery included some photos and selfies of the couple, as well as a snap of the elegant dinner.
The dinner came just after Teigen’s 37th birthday, which her Instagram video says she spent lounging in bed, eating some of her favorite foods, making some “baby things,” and watching shows like The Office and Below Deck.
Legend surprised his wife on their big day with an extravagant exhibition on Sunset Boulevard. He shared a video of the moment on Instagram on Wednesday, November 30, unveiling a giant billboard on the popular Los Angeles street to promote her website Cravings.com.
