DEAR HOLIDAY – This is the moment when we would like to forget everything. One constraint, however, imposes itself more or less strongly on the holidaymaker: the budget. This Parisian family organized “really nice vacations” with part of their mother’s severance pay.
For Christel, Olivier and their three children, it is the journey of a lifetime. A month vacation in Tanzania this summer, safaris in the savannah, swimming in caves and on the paradisiacal beaches of Zanzibar. “I’ve always dreamed of making long journeys, of taking my time. And Africa is a continent that fascinates me,” says the 41-year-old mother, who had “never dared to take the leap” before. “I wasn’t comfortable enough to start, and then I chained three kids!” She laughs.
