Christian Wilkins reveals the special meaning of his stunning ‘God’ outfit on Oaks Day
Christian Wilkins turned heads Thursday when he arrived at Oaks Day in a floral peplum ensemble with the word “God” emblazoned across the front.
The 27-year-old fashion icon added more drama to his look with some platform leather boots and a matador-inspired hat, but no one could take their eyes off the bold white lettering across his chest.
He revealed to the Herald Sun that his towering heels were the reason for the word, saying they made him “feel closer to God”.

Christian, who used to go by the nickname Prince, also joked that he’s since been “updated” to the deity.
“I’m wearing Alix Higgins and the hat is Loewe. He’s a young queer designer and I love the look. I just love a big girl in a heel. I feel closer to God,” he said.
“Have I been updated from prince to god? It’s women’s day and wearing pink flowers is perfect for the day.”

The model attended the event as a guest of Lexus alongside fellow TV presenter Richard Wilkins and his two sisters, and they spent much of the time in the exclusive Birdcage at Flemington Racecourse.
