Christine McGuinness was reportedly “devastated” after finding out her ex-husband Paddy was filming a “mockumentary about their divorce”.
The 35-year-old TV personality and the 50-year-old presenter announced in July last year that they had split after 11 years of marriage, later adding that they had ended their relationship earlier this year.
The friendly couple still live together in their family home to co-parent children Penelope, 9, and twins Felicity and Leo, 7, all of whom suffer from autism.
According to The Sun, a friend close to Christine revealed that she found out about Paddy's plan after learning about it online.
They told the publication: “Christine is upset that her divorce will be the subject of jokes.”

The source continued: “She is completely heartbroken over the divorce and we are really worried about her.”
“Paddy didn’t tell her about the pilot. “The fact that she had to find out online like everyone else that he did this broke her even more.”
Web has contacted Christine's representatives for comment.
News of the mockumentary comes as Paddy admits he has “run out of money” as he reveals he plans to return to stand-up comedy for the first time in six years.
The presenter made the tour announcement after it was revealed that the Top Gear show he co-hosted was canceled following Freddie Flintoff's accident.
Paddy admitted he has spent a significant amount of his money and plans to “build it back up” by returning to the comedy scene.
The comedian shared the revelation during an appearance on This Morning with Emma Willis and Rylan Clark on Wednesday.
When asked why he decided to do the tour, Paddy said: “Um, the money's gone now so it's taken about eight years to spend it all and I'm thinking, 'I've got to build it back up'.”
“It's strange that writing a tour takes a lot of time. When we had the break from Top Gear I had been planning it for a long time and thought, 'There's a window'.”

Last month, Paddy thanked fans “for the love” after the BBC said the hit series would not be airing “for the foreseeable future”.
His farewell message came amid fears that the program's insurance costs would no longer be affordable following the Flintoff crash.
Production on the show has been halted since presenter Flintoff, 45, was rushed to hospital in December 2022 after being seriously injured in an accident on the Top Gear test track at Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey.
Following the crash, the BBC announced it would pause production of the show, co-hosted by Take Me Out presenter Paddy McGuinness and automotive journalist Chris Harris, as it felt it was “inappropriate”, adding that it was a health concern – and health risk would give security clearance.
And following the BBC's announcement that the show would be on hiatus for the foreseeable future, Paddy posted a gallery of images on Instagram, starting with a picture of the trio in white Top Gear outfits.

He wrote the caption: “We always wanted to be idiots, but we were your idiots.”
“Thank you so much for all the love over the years, it has been greatly appreciated.”
Fans wished them well and told them they would be missed.
One replied to the photo saying: “I love you all. “We will miss you… Hopefully you will all be back sooner rather than later.”
Flintoff is said to have negotiated a £9 million settlement with the BBC to cover two years of lost earnings as a result of the crash.
And sources have told the Telegraph that the company is unable to secure insurance cover for the type of stunts featured in previous series.
“Insurance costs are going up,” an insider told the newspaper. “They were already quite high, but after the payout… no one will want to do it unless they charge more than the BBC can pay.”
Web understands that insurance costs were not a factor in the BBC's decision to suspend the broadcast.
In a statement earlier this week, the BBC said: “Given the exceptional circumstances, the BBC has decided to pause UK programming for the foreseeable future.”

“The BBC remains committed to Freddie, Chris and Paddy, who have been at the heart of the show’s renaissance since 2019, and we look forward to developing new projects with each of them.”
“We will have more to say about this in the near future.” We know the show's hiatus will be disappointing news for fans, but it is the right decision. “All other Top Gear activities remain unaffected by this pause, including international formats, digital media, magazines and licensing.”
