Christmas is just around the corner as the Stan Original Movie “Jones Family Christmas” is now streaming

Stan has a pre-Christmas present for fans, announcing Thursday that viewers can now stream her heartwarming new holiday film, Jones Family Christmas.

The Stan original film, about an Australian family affected by bushfires during a Christmas gathering, stars Love Child actress Ella Scott Lynch, 40, and veteran Aussie favorite Heather Mitchell, 65.

The streaming giant has established its own Christmas tradition by producing family-friendly content with an Australian flair.

Previous holiday hits include “A Sunburnt Christmas,” “Christmas on the Farm” and “Christmas Ransom.”

Inspired by true events and written by Australian comedian Tegan Higginbotham, the film’s plot revolves around eccentric grandmother Heather (Heather Mitchell) as she gathers her feuding clan in the bush for Christmas.

Things go from bad to worse as forced celebrations come to a halt due to raging bushfires.

And the trailer shows that fans can expect plenty of laughs and screams as the feuding family members are forced to make peace to deal with the disaster.

Lynch first rose to fame on Home and Away and is best known for her role on Nine’s Love Child.

Meanwhile, veteran actress Heather Mitchell has starred in Kennedy Miller’s miniseries Bodyline (1984) and the hit series Janet King.

The film also stars Michael Logo from the streaming comedy Colin from Accounts, Tahlee Fereday from Fisk and Dushan Phliips from Stan’s hit The Gloaming.
