(ANSA) — WASHINGTON, 04 OCT. – Russian President Vladimir Putin can be “quite dangerous and reckless” when cornered. CIA director Bill Burns said in an interview with CBS. Putin must be “concerned not only about what is happening on the battlefield in Ukraine, but also about what is happening at home and internationally,” Burns stressed, adding that despite China’s promises of “a ‘friendship without borders’ in February refused to offer military support. “Putin now feels cornered and can be quite dangerous and reckless.” (HAND).
