Cirque du Soleil’s “Kooza” breaks records

Cirque du Soleil’s show “Kooza” set a new attendance record this summer, becoming, in fact, the company’s best-selling show.

Since May, nearly 270,000 people have attended “Kooza,” Cirque du Soleil announced Wednesday, surpassing the mark set by the show “OVO” in 2009. Back then, almost 265,000 spectators came to the circus tent in Montreal to take part in “OVO”.

Founded 15 years ago, “Kooza” is leaving Montreal’s Old Port again after 13 weeks and 115 performances. He’ll be unpacking his bags in Gatineau at the end of August.

“Kooza” was first introduced in 2007 and has been seen by more than 8 million people in around 20 countries

It will be presented from August 26th to September 25th in Gatineau under the circus tent on the Place des Festivals ZIBI.
