Many of the people living in the United States face the enormous daily challenge of achieving an affordable cost of living.
In other words, finding a good job with enough salary.
With this in mind, and given the importance of the subject in question, Go Banking Rates recently conducted a research project. The study focuses on selecting a city in the United States that offers high-paying, low-cost jobs.
To do this, Go Banking Rates had to analyze 100 cities across the country with median family incomes above the national average. That’s according to the Census Bureau’s 2020 American Community Survey.
It is fair to point out that inflation in the United States has reached unprecedented levels. However, although it has declined somewhat this year, it still falls short of what the Federal Reserve (Fed) is expecting.
Which cities in the United States offer high-wage, low-cost-of-living jobs?
First up is Aurora, Illinois; where the median family income is $97,118.00 and total needs are $29,946.70.
Broken Arrow follows; Here the median family income is $104,389.00 and the total needs are between $30,048.38.
In contrast, in Rochester, Minnesota, the median family income is $98,609.00 and the total need is $31,918.25.
With an average household income of $98,462.00 and a total need of $33,496.87 lies Charlotte, North Carolina.
Fifth is Midland, Texas; with a median family income of $115,667.00 and total needs of $34,077.02.
Olathe, Kansas follows; where the median family income is $110757.00 and their total needs are $35180.49.
The places seven to ten are rounded off with the costs for the median family income and the total need by the following cities.
Raleigh, North Carolina at $98,016.00 and $35,301.79, respectively. Minneapolis, Minnesota; with $93145.00 and $35502.35.
Finally, there is Virginia Beach in Virginia at $101,686.00 and $36,254.73; and Pearland, Texas at $123,869.00 and $36,294.56, respectively.
