Claudette Dionthe older sister of our world star, Celine Dion, was accompanied by Jean-Philippe Wauthier for an interview on Bonsoir Bonsoir! and the one who wants to be spokeswoman for Fondation Maman Dion and La Maison Adhémar-Dion, for a rare time, addressed her sister’s illness.
Keep in mind that Celine would have serious health issues as she suffers from a rare neurological condition called stiff person syndrome and this was the reason she pushed for canceling all of her shows.
“Claudette, I want to wish you a great summer, but I know there are a lot of people who would be very angry if I didn’t ask you how Celine is (…) How is she?” asks her animator.
“Listen, I know she works hard, we’re all crossing our fingers. Then I’m happy that people are worried, that people are asking,” she reveals.
“Hey my God, we’re worried, the whole world is worried,” adds Jean-Philippe with his usual quick wit.
“Yes, but she works hard. We are confident that we will make it. It can’t be such a story! Then because I called him and said: heaven was wrong, Celine. She said to me: You’re going to make me cry,” confesses Claudette.
“You turned 55 this year, your lucky number is 5 (…) look at the returns,” Claudette would have said to Céline.
