CM Punk makes a surprise appearance after Raw goes off the air

Monday night (February 19) was a tough night for Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso, thanks to Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. And while “Raw” may have ended on a bad night for many viewers, those in attendance are there Anaheim's sold out Honda Center There was a small consolation prize at the end, which included a surprise appearance from CM Punk.

After rescuing Jey and helping him drive off Jimmy and Sikoa, who returned to join in the brotherly brawl, Cody Rhodes led the crowd in comforting his former Tag Team Championship partner. Rhodes thanked the crowd and added that one more person wanted to say hello. That's when he introduced CM Punk.

Punk, whose arm was still wearing a brace after triceps surgery, said it wasn't easy sitting in the back knowing Anaheim was strong and remained hot throughout three hours of WWE action. He then made a vow for the next time WWE comes to town.

“I promise you, next time we’re in Anaheim, I’ll be here. And I’m going to put my boots on,” Punk said.

Yet there was more.

From there, Rhodes, the man of the people, took over and presented one lucky fan with a turnbuckle signed by all three men. Not to be outdone, Jey Uso took off his shoes and signed them as another parting gift to Anaheim. Punk, who admitted he was unprepared, knowingly committed a federal offense and signed a hundred-dollar bill that he gave away to a fan, which for many in the Golden State was the equivalent of a tank of gas.

After Rhodes thanked the audience again, Jey Uso had the final say to end the show.

“Yes!”

Jey's upbeat sendoff was in stark contrast to how Raw began and ended.

The show began with Sikoa holding Rhodes while he drilled him with a Samoan Spike. This led to Drew McIntyre scoring a victory over The American Nightmare. Later, in the main event, Jey Uso saw his dream of becoming Intercontinental Champion crushed by his “big” brother Jim. Jimmy's unexpected appearance caused a distraction, allowing the champion Günther to score a tenuous victory and retain his crown.

However, Punk's performance and Cody's actions helped the Anaheim crowd go home happy.
