Actress Cocoa Brown lost her home after it burned down in a devastating fire on Sunday.
The 51-year-old “For Better or Worse” star lived at the property in Fayetteville, Georgia, with her 12-year-old son Phoenix. She was able to escape with her son and her pets.
According to TMZ, the cause of the fire may have been a burning candle. A source told the publication that Cocoa believes a candle may have fallen into a pile of clothes.
Although the star reportedly tried to put out the flames with a fire extinguisher after her alarm went off, the fire spread too quickly and she was forced to flee.
Friends of the actress have now started a GoFundMe to help her, with a goal of $50,000.
