Despite the blue jacket, the 22-year-old American has kept his overall style by sporting a bucket hat of the same colour. Not too diminished by his time under the knife, Caufield waved at the camera in an Instagram post emblazoned with the words “Back soon.”
The dynamic striker’s 2022/23 season ended prematurely after it was deemed best to address his ongoing shoulder problem before the injury worsened. Before his time in the infirmary, Caufield was the Habs’ second-best scorer with 36 points in 46 games, including 26 goals.
In a press conference last week, he explained that he was injured just before Christmas. He should be back in time for the Canadians’ next training camp in September.
