Former MLB star Cole Hamels seems to be enjoying his new retirement as he befriends a new potential girlfriend.
Hamels, who retired from baseball earlier this month, has been linked to actress Rebekah Graf after posting photos of the pair to Instagram.
The alleged couple looked particularly close in a series of photos shared on the social media platform last month.
In the first snap, Graf, 41, and Hamels, 39, looked at each other fondly and appeared to lean in for a kiss.
In other photos, the new couple sat by the pool and posed for a few selfies.

The carousel ended with a video of Hamels attempting to remove a thorn from Graf’s hand.
The actress, best known for portraying Heather Locklear on the 2018 Netflix series The Dirt, captioned the post: “He melts me like a popsicle on the 4th of July … on the last slide, Cole pulls my thorns out.” Hand because I just had to touch a cactus. Again.’
Graf shared a second post of the couple, which includes a slow-motion GIF of them kissing while fireworks light up the sky in the background, with the one-word caption: “Kaboom.”
The post suggests that the former Philadelphia Phillies star has split from his wife Heidi Strobel.
Hamels and Strobel tied the knot on New Year’s Eve 2006, following Hamels’ rookie season with the Phillies.
They have four children together, sons Caleb and Braxton and daughters Reeve and Mackenzie. They adopted Reeve from Ethiopia in 2012.
Hamels, nicknamed “Hollywood,” appears to be on a type as Strobel is also an actress who appeared on Survivor: The Amazon in 2003 and posed for Playboy.
It’s unclear when and why the couple split.
However, Hamels did not get the nickname “Hollywood” from his wife, an actress. The San Diego native earned the nickname from former Phillies bat Ryan Howard for wearing surfer shorts and flip-flops in the clubhouse.

The former World Series MVP retired from baseball earlier this month
Hamels retired earlier this month after his failed attempt at a comeback with his hometown San Diego Padres.
The Padres, who signed Hamels to a minor league contract in February, announced Hamels’ retirement on Friday. The left-hander’s agent, John Boggs, confirmed the 15-year veteran would quit the job.
Hamels, 39, started once for the Atlanta Braves in 2020 and hasn’t made a pitch since. The four-time All-Star had to undergo shoulder surgery in 2021.
Hamels, who went to Rancho Bernardo High, was a first-round draft pick by Philadelphia in 2002 and was the 2008 World Series MVP with the Phillies. He pitched for the Phillies for ten seasons and also played for Texas and the Chicago Cubs. He was 163-122 with a 3.43 ERA and 2,560 strikeouts in 15 seasons.
