Colin became friends with the 52-year-old Californian while playing partners Jim Street and Brian Gamble in Clark Johnson’s LAPD action film SWAT, which grossed $207.2 million at the global box office in 2003 despite grim reviews.

Jeremy underwent two surgeries for blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries after being crushed by a 14,330-pound snowplow near his Nevada home on New Year’s Day.

According to Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam, Renner had been clearing snow from a private driveway when his snow cat began to roll away, and he was injured trying to get back into the vehicle.

Next, viewers can catch the Hawkeye action star as ex-con Mike McLusky in the second season of Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon’s crime drama Mayor of Kingstown, which premieres this Sunday on Paramount+.

“I loved working on this film for probably obvious reasons,” the Thirteen Lives star told ET.

“The script was exceptional. I’ve worked with people I love very much and have worked with before and have a lot of experience with.

“And I have to go home, to my home country, and see parts of the country and shoot in parts of the country that I don’t go to very often. It was an extraordinary experience.”
