Steele Sidebottom and his wife Alisha Edwards are expecting their second child together any day now.
The Collingwood footballer and his wife revealed their baby could come “any minute” as they attended the Australian Open in Melbourne on Friday.
“She's due on February 6 but I think she'll go early because the baby is so big it could be at any moment,” the 33-year-old AFL told the Herald Sun.
Steele said his heavily pregnant wife had recently suffered accidents in which she was injured.
“She came home from work last Friday and twisted her ankle slightly, fell forward, landed on her knee and broke her kneecap,” he said.

“Then she tried to go to the toilet at 3am and fell over again but she's fine, we're excited.”
The couple tied the knot in a stunning Daylesford ceremony in late 2022.
Alisha looked glamorous on the day in a stunning off-the-shoulder white dress with a tasteful slit.
Steele looked chic in a gray blazer, which he paired with navy pants and a matching tie.
The pair invited Steele's teammates Taylor Adams, Jordan De Goey and Jeremy Howe to join in the celebration.

They were joined by former teammates Ben Crocker and Levi Greenwood, as well as former coach Nathan Buckley.
The couple seemed to spare no expense for the extravagant wedding.
Photos shared on social media show the couple filling a champagne tower before guests toast the newlyweds.
Sidebottom announced he was getting married, saying, “Sorry ladies, I'm no longer on the market.”
