Colombia’s Vice Presidential Candidate Condemns Act Of Intimidation

The candidate for the vice-presidency of Colombia for the historic pact, Francia Márquez, denounced on Saturday evening that she was the victim of an act of intimidation during a campaign speech in Bogotá, the capital of the South American country.

The candidates of the left-wing alliance Historical Pact have repeatedly denounced having received several threats during this election process.

As Petro wrapped up his campaign this Saturday in the city of Barranquilla, he called for the other presidential candidates to meet this Monday to defend democracy against attempts aimed at blocking the elections on Sunday 29th.
