Expelled from the theater for being too loud and rude. It happened in Colorado to a congresswoman named Lauren Boebert, one of the hawks of the Republican Grand Old Party. The woman was removed from a Denver theater for smoking an e-cigarette, using the phone and “intrusively groping” her partner during a rerun of the musical “Beetlejuice.”
“Difficult and humbling experience”
Her staff initially disputed the report, saying that Republican Boebert had an e-cigarette in her mouth. But surveillance video broadcast by Denver TV “9News” showed otherwise. Between the first and second half of the show, a pregnant woman even asked her to stop smoking, which she refused. At this point, theater security had to intervene and ask them to leave the theater. The woman allegedly replied, “But do you know who I am?” In the end, the Republican apologized. “It was a difficult and humbling experience,” Boebert said, explaining that his recent divorce took a toll on him.
