The American comedian and actor Jo Koy will host the Golden Globes ceremony in early January, film and television awards in search of renewal.

Jo Koy, stand-up comedian and actor in the films “Easter Sunday” and “The Haunted Mansion,” said he was thrilled to host the evening, which will kick off awards season in Hollywood.

The ceremony on January 7th in Beverly Hills, California will be broadcast on CBS instead of NBC as is currently the case.
