Nizo Neto, 58, son of the late Chico Anysio, took to Instagram to vent. He threatened to sue his colleague Rey Biannchi for alleging that Chico used cocaine.
Biannchi’s speech was delivered during his interview with the Ticaracaticast podcast. “He snorted directly, directly, every day the guy snorted. He had money, the height of television, with Chico Total, Baianos and Novos Caetanos [trio musical formado por Chico Anysio, Arnaud Rodrigues e Renato Piau]’ Biannchi said on the podcast.
Nizo then asked Rey to recant and retract the testimony, otherwise he would be sued in court.
“This is called disrespect, ‘bad manners’ and ingratitude. On behalf of the family, I request an immediate retraction to avoid legal action,” Nizo wrote.
“I would politely ask Mr. Rey Biannchi to refrain publicly on social media from the defamation he made on a podcast about my father and he is not here to defend himself,” he said in the recording.
“So Mr. Rey please recant so we can avoid legal action because if you don’t I will sue you for defamation, moral damage and defamation. Thank you,” he concluded.
Social Media Disclaimer. Biannchi then praised Chico Anysio on his social networks:
“I have one of the GREATEST HONORS OF MY LIFE! To be able to do shows with Master Chico Anysio and to have a video of him saying he’s been my fan for a long time! In the second video he says I’m the best in he was the group we belonged to. He also praised me in the dressing room and said that I was victorious because I gave up all drugs,” he began.
“By that time I had already helped over a thousand people quit drugs and I had mentored many people! I would never speak or act to dishonor Master’s memory! I am so honored to receive this compliment for my cooperation Master! Unfortunately, people like to invent and create controversies and lies, distort facts. God bless us all and may God have Master Chico Anysio in a higher dimension of light. God’s light never goes out,” he added.
