Commitment to Frederique Dufort and Jay Kutcher – Noovo Moi

Commitment to Frédérique Dufort and Jay Kutcher – Noovo Moi

A few hours after launch Fred Also thanked all the people who were present during the show and who had supported the couple over the past few years.

“It’s done… We did it!!!

Over 250 wonderful people were there to celebrate the release of the Jay Kutcher EP. An artist’s project, a couple’s project, a life’s project. An adventure that will test not only our love of music, our love of the show business industry, but also our love in general. Because there is a whole family story behind the relocation of new land: an investment of time and energy Money, many sacrifices and many, many questions.

After 6 years, a pandemic, two wonderful children and several other projects in parallel, we are finally taking the plunge and presenting you the result of all this work in the shadows. A complete EP that finally sees the light of day thanks to a team of people who never stopped dreaming, putting in the work and being passionate.

That’s probably why we always believed in it… even though we were pretty much the only ones in the beginning.

But not anymore.

THANKS. Thank you to everyone who came. Artists, industry representatives, numerous media, photographers and friends. You have given us back a hundredfold just by your presence.

Then to everyone who couldn’t be with us: talk about it. Music. Dedication. Songs. The courage it takes to start from scratch. Play Jay Kutcher’s EP everywhere you go, then tell people to rely on the songs to make up their minds.

This memorable opening show breaks the radio silence we’ve been counting on since the articles last February. Those hurtful words and comments that certainly hurt us, but that certainly motivated us to prove that it is worth staying good, sticking together with integrity and despite all odds. We hope that now this is the music you want to talk about, and that these are the words and melodies that resonate in everyone’s ears: from Montreal to Gaspésie, then from Nashville to Australia.

Because behind the name change is a man, his wife, their children and the decision to be happy at home and know that dad will now produce music that he loves and that makes him proud. Music that highlights his voice, under a project name that will differentiate the two phases of his career.

Because just as Frédérique Dufort is not Dalie, Léa or Leslie in everyday life (Yes! I too will soon have a name – a character – in English Canada. And I am so proud of it!), Jay Kutcher will become Jérôme Couture again when He leaves the stage and joins his family home.

Speaking of home: without those who belong to us, it would never have been possible. From this solid core that has experienced roller coasters and earthquakes with us. Mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters, friends and biggest supporters. …I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

With this in mind, we have been working on it for almost four years, but have been organizing the launch day and night for almost a month. Hold meetings with the Ranch, Taxi Promo, Bloc Notes and TDI gangs, review our marketing strategies, be constantly active on social networks, write more than 1000 personalized messages. So let’s take a little moment before we respond to this beautiful wave of love. Jay is doing a media tour to radio stations in Quebec and Saguenay, and I personally still have many hours of sleep to catch up on: now that the launch is complete, I can’t wait to start working on my projects.

Take pride in taking on projects you believe in. Keep up. But don’t forget that the most important thing is love.

The love of the job, the love of art, the love of a project that inspires you, but above all the love for the real thing, which will remain whether it works or not.
