Complex week at “Fantasy Football”

With six teams in the NFL on furlough this week, fantasy football fans may be pulling their hair out trying to fill in the gaps in their roster.

The draw will therefore be of paramount importance. Here are eight players to target that might just save your ass:

Justin Fields, quarterback (available in 58% of Yahoo! leagues)

The Pivot can’t win the Chicago Bears on a regular basis, but he’s just put in some stellar performances for the poolers who have included him in their training. In fact, Fields has been one of the top 12 most productive quarterbacks over the past four weeks of NFL activity.

Jared Goff, quarterback (available in 47% of Yahoo! leagues)

With the return of wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and running back D’Andre Swift, Goff could have good times ahead. The Detroit Lions have a date with the Green Bay Packers and the Bears in the next two weeks, which also presents great opportunities for the 28-year-old veteran.

Isiah Pacheco, Running Back (Available in 66% of Yahoo! leagues)

The freshman shares the job with Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Jerick McKinnon in the Kansas City Chiefs backfield, but is taking on increasing responsibilities. Even if he hasn’t exploded this season, there’s a good chance it will in the next few games. This is also the time to think about the future. His team has good playoff games in fantasy football and Pacheco won’t be around for long.

Khalil Herbert, Running Back (Available in 36% of Yahoo! leagues)

Despite being the No. 2 Bears player behind David Montgomery, Herbert has had good games in four of his team’s last six games. Head coach Matt Eberflus also said he wanted to “use him actively”.

Joshua Palmer, wide receiver (available in 73% of Yahoo! leagues)

With the loss of Mike Williams and Keenan Allen’s ongoing malaise with the Los Angeles Chargers, Palmer is becoming a fixture. He will be Justin Herbert’s No. 2 against the Atlanta Falcons, the team that has awarded the most points to receivers so far this season.

Rondale Moore, wide receiver (available in 64% of Yahoo! leagues)

DeAndre Hopkins’ return to the game monopolizes the clubs’ best defensive players against the Arizona Cardinals. This is a factor that favors Moore. Last week he caught seven of eight throws for 92 yards and a major.

Evan Engram, Tight End (Available in 57% of Yahoo! leagues)

Engram makes our picks for the second week in a row as it has once again proven it’s consistently scoring. The tight end just put in its best performance of the season and could do even better this Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Greg Dulcich, Tight End (Available in 58% of Yahoo! leagues)

The Denver Broncos color bear won’t play this week and could therefore slip under the radar in your league. The newcomer has been a factor in all three games he has played so far in 2022.
