The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrovwas transferred to a hospital after suffering a health problem after arriving at the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesian officials said on Monday. Subsequently, the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry denied that the diplomat suffered from medical problems.
Four Indonesian government and medical officials told The Associated Press that the 72-year-old Russian diplomat received medical treatment at Sanglah Hospital in the provincial capital Denpasar. All declined to give their names as they were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.
Two of the people said that Lavrov received treating a heart problem.
Subsequently, the governor of Bali, I Wayan Koster, stated this Lavrov went to the Sanglah Hospital one day after arrival in Bali A review”although he left the medical center shortly afterwards in “good health”, according to Indonesian newspaper The Jakarta Post.
Another official said so been to the health center twice.
“He is in good health, he came to the hospital yesterday (Sunday) after arriving in Bali just to check his health,” said Sunarto, a health ministry official who, like many Indonesians, has no last name. On Monday, “He came back to the hospital just to be checked out and thank God he’s fine,” he told AFP.

Employees at the Russian embassy could not immediately be reached for comment.
Later, The Foreign Ministry spokeswoman released a video of Lavrov at the hotel and assured that they were lies, although he did not clarify whether he had received any medical treatment. Maria Zakharova showed Lavrov sitting outside in a courtyard, wearing shorts and a T-shirt, and reading documents.
In July, Lavrov walked out of a meeting of G20 ministers early after facing a barrage of criticism over the war in Ukraine.
The Kremlin justified Putin’s absence from the meeting with “agenda” reasons that kept the president in Russia, without specifying the commitment that prevents him from attending one of the world’s most important summits.
According to the Kremlin, Putin will not even address the summit via video conference, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose country is not a member of the G20, will speak twice.
Putin’s absence reflects the “sense of stagnation” among actors in the conflict in Ukraine, “starting with the Russian leadership,” said Konstantin Kalachev, an independent Russian political scientist.
In fact, almost nine months after the start of the Russian offensive, there were no negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow.
In any case, the timing seems particularly bad for Russia to start talks, suffering numerous military setbacks this fall despite the mobilization of hundreds of thousands of reservists.
