Connor Bedard changes the wingers

The Chicago Blackhawks decided to try a new combination on Connor Bedard’s line when they visit the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night at the United Center.

During practice on Monday, the first-ever pick in the last draft worked with wingers Nick Foligno and Tyler Johnson.

Bedard has played primarily with Taylor Hall since the start of the season, but the veteran is currently injured and won’t be returning to the game anytime soon. The 18-year-old prodigy also skated with Taylor Raddysh, Andreas Athanasiou and Ryan Donato.

The National League’s new superstar has scored two goals and provided two assists for four points in six games so far in the 2023/24 season. He is tied with forwards Logan Cooley (Arizona Coyotes) and Ridly Greig (Ottawa Senators) for first place in the rankings among first-year players on the Bettman Tour.
