Conor McGregor releases a cryptic ‘note’ about ‘destroying someone’s life with lies’ amid sexual assault allegations
Conor McGregor has apparently responded to allegations of sexual assault with a cryptic post on his Instagram account.
The UFC star has been accused of sexually abusing a woman in the restroom at the NBA Finals in Miami, Florida earlier this month.
On Instagram, he posted a picture of George Clooney emblazoned with a quote: ‘If you ruin someone’s life by lying, take it as a loan.’ It will come back to you with interest.’
McGregor himself captioned the post “A note”.
The woman met McGregor at the game at the Kaseya Center and was exiting the arena when she claimed his security told her he was asking for her in the restroom. In the bathroom, she claims he forced her to perform oral sex and force-kissed her.
She claims McGregor spat on her and himself while trying to get aroused. The woman’s lawyer told she went to police on Sunday to report the incident but was turned away and advised to get legal counsel.
McGregor denies the allegations. “These claims are false. “Mr. McGregor is not intimidated,” his attorney said in a statement when the allegations surfaced.
And the UFC star now appears to be addressing the situation further.
The prosecutor’s attorney says she met McGregor at the game that night. He had been invited by the NBA and shocked fans by KOing mascot Burnie, who had to be hospitalized.
According to court orders, which were sent not only to McGregor’s attorney but also to the Heat and the stadium, the woman was on her way out of the building when McGregor’s security called her into the VIP men’s bathroom.
“After the game and after Mr. McGregor sent Miami Heat mascot Burnie to the hospital, Mr. McGregor escalated his aggressive, unprovoked and outrageous behavior by violently sexually abusing and abusing this company’s customer in the Kaseya Center’s men’s restroom.”
‘Mister. McGregor, with the support and assistance of NBA and Miami Heat Kaseya security guards, physically forced the victim through security into the men’s room, separated her from her friend, and locked her in with Mr. McGregor and his security guard.
“After she was isolated and trapped in the Kaseya Center’s VIP men’s restroom, security refused to let her out or allow anyone else, including her friend, access to the restroom.”
‘Mister. “McGregor then emerged from the disabled cubicle, stuck his tongue in the victim’s mouth and kissed her aggressively,” the legal letter reads.
