Consultative Commission of the Parliament of Venezuela approved the work plan

The President of the Parliament, Jorge Rodríguez, stated that the commissions will work as a bloc according to their powers to deal with each of the axes.

These include a block of economic laws, including the law on digital commerce, harmonization, the municipal economic system and new companies that will be adapted to the new realities, according to a press release from the legislature.

Another relates to city law, which refers to the laws related to public services such as water, comprehensive sanitation, environment, etc.

There are also the laws of popular power, an issue that the National Assembly will prioritize with the aim of strengthening and developing the municipalities and local councils in order to achieve greater participatory and protagonist democracy.

A final block will be dedicated to the Laws of the Judicial Revolution, 11 of which were passed last year, and another four are planned for 2023, such as the Judiciary System, Magistracy, Truth and Historical Memory.

This Tuesday, the Advisory Commission set up a working commission to revolutionize the method of consultation and dissemination of the laws, trying to bring people even closer to their knowledge and to strengthen the connection to the social bases and communities.

The first vice-president of the National Assembly, Pedro Infante, explained that the legislature will use technological tools and other mechanisms such as social networks and email to listen to popular power’s proposals.

The essence is that there is a constant feedback between the legislature, with the social movements and other sectors in all corners of the country, parishes, parishes and communities.

He emphasized that the central task of Parliament will be to take to the streets together with the people and debate our laws.
