Controversial German dating show Adam Looking for Eve will return to SBS’ on-demand platform Viceland for its fifth season on Friday, August 19.
Based on the original Dutch format, the reality show follows strangers looking for love who meet completely naked on a tropical island.

Fans will watch as the 35-year-old former Miss Frankfurt is introduced to her first date Emanuel aboard the Queen Atlantis yacht.
Unfortunately for Emanuel, things get off to a rocky start after he gets seasick.
Emanuel has a rival, handsome student Adam Martin, who appears later in the episode.
While Emanuel tries to beat his illness below deck, Gina-Lisa and Adam remain on the upper deck to see if anything catches fire.

The German version of the successful show has been running since 2014.
The format, popular in European countries, has produced series in France, Spain, Finland and Hungary.
Gina-Lisa became famous on “Germany’s next top model” and later appeared in a Big Brother house.

She was also involved in advertising adult fairs.
The Dutch iteration of Adam Looking for Eve caused controversy back in 2017 when it introduced a VIP spin-off to the format.
The show’s seventh season featured celebrities as contestants, including famed Dutch Olympic swimmer Inge de Bruijn.
