Coronation Street fans can look forward to another week of action-packed drama filled with lies, intrigue and money rushes.
Serial killer Stephen Reid’s lies begin to overwhelm him as he becomes homeless, setting the stage for his attempt to escape the cobblestone streets in the coming weeks.
Elsewhere, Ronnie Bailey’s plan to capitalize on a new housing development backfires, while Tyrone Dobbs begins to question his mother Cassie’s intentions.
Viewers were also hooked on a hard-hitting new storyline that saw Ryan Connor battle his steroid addiction while turning to an OnlyFans-style website for a quick buck.

Stephen’s lies are hot on his heels…
Unusual: Carla suspects someone drugged her with LSD – will she find out it’s Stephen?
Angelique announces that she will not be renewing the Nippersnapper contract, but Stephen tells Carla, Saran and Michael that they are considering buying the company immediately.
Tim warns Sarah that Stephen is a liar who claims he was being forcibly controlled by Gabrielle but then tried to pass her off as a management consultant for the factory.
Audrey shows Gail a statement from a stock release company. When she finds out that Gail and Audrey knew about Gabrielle’s treatment of Stephen, she decides to call the woman.
Audrey shows Sarah the equity release letter and wonders if it has anything to do with a real estate agent’s visit that Stephen arranged… will the truth come out?
At the factory, Sarah overhears Stephen talking to Jenny on the phone about the Rovers deal. She mistakenly assumes he is talking to Angelique about the Nippersnapper deal and follows him.
Sarah finds him at the hotel and threatens to call the police, believing he’s trying to rush the deal.
When Carla meets with Lou, she is shocked to hear that Rufis is involved with LSD – when she describes his symptoms, Carla resonates.
She tells Roy that her symptoms were identical and she suspects someone may have drugged her with LSD.
Roy isn’t convinced and thinks she’s suffering from paranoia again. He tells Peter about his concerns. How will Peter react?
…but can he charm Jenny?
Cheeky! Meanwhile, the serial killer tries to cover his tracks by charming Jenny, and when the two head into the bedroom, will she regret it?
Later that week, Jenny returns to the Rovers with Stephen in tow and tells Daisy that she has signed on the dotted line and no longer owns the Rovers.
Stephen finds Jenny in the Rovers’ back room and tells her it’s time to put himself first, takes her in his arms and kisses her passionately.
Jenny takes Stephen’s hand and leads him upstairs… but will she regret it?
It doesn’t appear that in later episodes, a smitten Jenny suggests booking a vacation and offers to pay.
Tim spots them and warns Jenny that Stephen is not to be trusted.
When he reveals that Elaine is selling her apartment and wants him out, Stephen is furious and bemoans Jenny about being homeless… will she fall prey to his charms?
Will Shelley’s cheating be exposed?
Storyline: Shelly reveals she is involved in a laptop scam to pay her caregivers, but when Paul discovers the plan, will it backfire?
Paul calls Shelly’s apartment and complains about the stairlift, the wheelchair, and Billy’s constant interference, but she insists he should be grateful for Billy’s support.
Paul returns home and suggests that Billy go out and have a good time for a day while it’s still possible.
Billy and Paul spend the afternoon at the lake. When Paul suggests bathing naked, Billy has a hard time refusing.
Paul thinks it’s time to book their wedding and suggests to Billy that they hold their wedding at the bistro.
Later, Paul and Bernie visit Shelly’s apartment and find her surrounded by boxes and packages, each containing a laptop.
Shelly confesses that she used her old company credit card to buy laptops and resell them to pay her caregivers.
Paul later gives Summer one of Shelly’s stolen laptops for her birthday, claiming it’s cheap… but will that backfire?
Ronnie lies to Ed
Intrigue: Ronnie lies to Ed about the money they could use to buy property, even though he realizes he’s already spent the money on stocks that aren’t worthless
An excited Ed tells Ronnie about a lot for sale with planning permission for six houses and assumes they could have a blast with it.
Ronnie reluctantly agrees to look into the details, knowing full well he’s already spent the money.
To buy himself some time, Ronnie suggests Ed hire a surveyor to look at the land before making any hasty decisions.
At the coffee shop, Debbie assures Ronnie that he only has to stall Ed for a few more days.
When Ed reveals he’s hired his own appraiser to speed things up and says they should call the realtors and make them an offer for the property, Ronnie hides his panic.
Ed is disappointed when he learns from the real estate agent that there is keen interest in the property and they accept sealed offers… will Ronnie’s plan succeed?
His plan backfires
Theatre! When Ed reveals he’s made an offer for the property, Ronnie has to explain that there’s no money because he wasted it all on worthless stock – how will his brother react?
Debbie alerts Ronnie that Newton & Ridley’s stock has plummeted and he’d rather hope Waterfords makes an offer soon.
Ronnie panics and tells Ed he’s reconsidered the new project and thinks they should back off, but Ed doesn’t want to hear about it.
Then, when Ronnie overhears Henry telling Rovers staff that his father wants to sell the brewery but is doing everything he can to stop it, Ronnie catches him outside and urges him to accept Waterfords’ offer.
Henry points out that he never mentioned Waterfords and wants to know where Ronnie got his information from. How is Ronnie going to talk his way out of this?
When Ed reveals he’s made an offer for the property, Ronnie has to explain that there’s no money because he wasted it all on Newton & Ridley stock, which is now worthless. How will Ed react?
Ryan’s fast-paced business venture continues
Cheeky! Ryan is full steam ahead with his new plan to share racy snaps on an OnlyFans-like site – how far will he go?
When Ryan receives a message from Guy reminding him of the video, Ryan assures him it’s in the works.
Viewers have seen him hit up a photo-sharing site while struggling with steroid addiction, and his unpredictable behavior began to worry his loved ones.
Later, Daisy calls over with a ring light for him, he posts a message to his O-Vidz followers and promises them a personalized video soon… How far will Ryan go?
Cassie’s wild behavior worries Tyrone
Unpleasant! A night of drinking at the Rovers has Tyrone wondering if his mother, Cassie, has really changed her ways
Unaware that she hasn’t overcome her drug addiction yet, Tyrone finds Cassie after a game of gin rummy at the Rovers with three plays left.
Tyrone drags her home, hands Cassie a pint of water, and tells her he’s proud of how well she’s doing with her recovery, but that she mustn’t screw it up.
Later, Tyrone gives Cassie £20 and asks her to buy some for tea, and she assures him she won’t waste the money on alcohol.
On the way to the dentist, Tyrone convinces Evelyn to take care of the girls. But when he returns, there is still no sign of Cassie. Evelyn warns him to expect the worst.
Did Cassie do a runner?
