Coronation Street SPOILERS: First look at Max Turner’s ex-girlfriend Lauren returning to Weatherfield shocked – but will she bring trouble to his door?
Coronation Street’s Max Turner is set to get a shock in upcoming scenes as his ex-girlfriend Lauren Bolton returns to Weatherfield.
The teenager (played by Paddy Bever) tries to rebuild his life after being released from a secure training center after being involved in the stabbing of Alya Nazir by extremist Blake.
Max had been tricked and manipulated into joining an extremist gang led by leader Griff Reynolds (Michael Condron), with Lauren’s father also being a member of the far-right group.
During the disturbing storyline, Max was romantically involved with Lauren (Cait Fitton), but when the gang broke up, Lauren fled to Cornwall to be with her mother, where she felt it would be safer.
And in the first few pictures, Max is about to have an unexpected encounter with the past when Lauren suddenly comes back into his life, claiming to have fallen out with her mother – but is her return as innocent as it seems?

Lauren, who previously shared the same racist views as Max, insisted she wanted nothing to do with her father or his right-wing colleagues, while claiming she spent the night outside at the bus station.
Taking pity on Lauren, he takes her to the coffee shop, where she makes it clear that she wants to pick up where she left off.
But it remains to be seen if she has an ulterior motive.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk about his character’s love life, 20-year-old actor Paddy said: “I would love to see him find love with someone who has good intentions for him, someone who is not in danger for him.” represents him.
“I’d love to see him find love with someone who can weather the storms with him instead of creating it himself.”
Meanwhile, Max will have more problems with his current girlfriend, Bec, after her ex gets out of jail.
After his own release from prison, things are looking up for Max as he embarks on a new romance with Bec.
But in the upcoming episodes, when the teenager goes to her apartment, Gav approaches her and explains that he has been released from the STC and intends to marry Bec.
