Antônio (Tony Ramos) will think about making a shocking decision about his successor in Terra e Paixão. Disillusioned with Caio (Cauã Reymond) and difficult times with Petra (Debora Ozório), the farmer grows tired of his children and decides to hand over everything they have to none other than Luigi (Rainer Cadete) in Globo’s nine o’clock soap opera.
The rich man will argue that the Italian was the only person he had left. In fact, Caio won’t even want to see his father painted gold. After the attacks against Aline (Barbara Reis), the boy finally broke up with La Selva, mainly because they brought about the end of their relationship.
Petra, in turn, will be angry with her mother. The girl will discover that Hélio’s (Rafael Vitti) supposed betrayal was a trap set by Irene (Gloria Pires). She will also separate from her family and decide to continue her treatment in a psychiatric hospital alone.
Without children, Antônio will face a crisis. He will find it unfair to leave everything they have to the two “ungrateful ones”. Caio will be unemployed and the Patriarch will also reject Petra after she ignored his existence during her stay at the clinic. One certain day the Almighty will realize that his daughter will be on the phone with Luigi but won’t bother to talk to him.
The farmer will even complain loudly and the soninlaw will try to defuse the situation. “It’s just that Petra had an activity. There is time for everyone in the clinic. But she sent kisses to everyone in the family,” she will lie.

Written by Walcyr Carrasco and Thelma Guedes, Terra e Paixão is set in the fictional town of Nova Primavera in Mato Grosso do Sul. The plot will air until January next year and will then be replaced by the remake of Renascer (1993), whose cast is in the casting phase.
