Vinícius (Paulo Rocha) will have to pay dearly for his hot affair with Irene (Gloria Pires) in Terra e Paixão. The lovers are caught in bed by Antônio (Tony Ramos). The farmer will shoot the geologist in the chest, thinking he has gotten rid of the boy, but he will survive. However, the professional will lose his memory and be unable to testify against the villain in Globo’s nine o’clock soap opera.
In the next chapters, Emmy (Claudia Raia) will tell Agatha (Eliane Giardini) about the Dondoca affair with the geologist. The villain will arrange a meeting with the Almighty in the same place where lovers usually meet.
The rich man will be angry when he sees his wife’s car driving into the cheap motel. “I’m going to enter this pigsty and spoil the party for these two villains!” the villain will say. He will invade the room and catch her having sex. “You bastards! I will kill you!” he will threaten.
The geologist will escape through the window and give chase. Ramiro (Amaury Lorenzo) will find the stranger in the forest and call the boss. Antônio will land a shot straight into his rival’s chest.
“There! The villain paid in blood! “Now, Ramiro, go and see if the man is really dead,” the evil character will command. The henchman will realize that the boy will still be alive, but decides to lie. “Mortinho da Silva. The shot was accurate, boss,” he will say. The rich man will order the clerk to throw the body into the river.
Later, Jurecê (Daniel Munduruku) and Raoni (Mapu Huni Kui) will find the injured geologist on the bank of the stream and take him to the village. After proper care, he wakes up very confused.
“Did I die? Are you an angel?” Iraê (Suyane Moreira) will ask. “What happened?” the professional will ask. “Calm down, Vinícius. “Everything is fine now,” the woman will reassure. “Who is Vinícius?” the unconscious person will ask.
Written by Walcyr Carrasco and Thelma Guedes, Terra e Paixão is set in the fictional town of Nova Primavera in Mato Grosso do Sul. The plot will be broadcast until January next year, when it will be replaced by the remake of Renascer (1993).
